Are tenants on Flatio verified?
When potential tenants sign up with Flatio, they're asked to provide as much information about themselves as possible, including why they're looking for a monthly rental. We know that landlords want to feel confident in their choice of tenants - after all, you're handing them the keys to your property!
That's why we run background checks on Czech applicants to see if their address is at the town hall, if they're listed on the insolvency register, or if they have debts to a health insurance company. We don't yet have the resources to check this information for non-Czech citizens.
However, if a potential tenant has already rented on Flatio, you can see if their previous landlords thought they were a good tenant. Our system prompts both parties to rate the other party at regular intervals.
