A place that changes how you work – and how you feel.

Monte Sentimento is a mindfulness resort and permaculture farm in the gentle
hills of southwest Alentejo, Portugal. Few guests, much space, real depth.
Morning mist over the oaks, focused work during the day, a swim in the natural
lake at noon, fireside evenings.

People come here for clarity – and usually find more.

YOUR HOME BASE (approx. 100 m²)

Bedroom with double bed, plus an open gallery with an extra sleeping space and
reading corner. The bright living and dining area with open kitchen and
fireplace offers plenty of room to work – at the large table inside or outside
on the covered terrace overlooking the land. Bathroom with shower or bathtub.
Private garden.

Built in the traditional Alentejo taipa (rammed earth) technique: thick clay
walls that stay cool in summer and warm in winter. Breathable rooms, healthy
indoor climate, no air conditioning needed. Additionally equipped with Qi Blanco
frequency technology for a calm, harmonious space.

WORKING HERE

High-speed internet for deep work, video calls and large uploads. Work at the
window or on the terrace. Silence whenever you need it – no traffic, no
neighbours, no distractions.

THE PLACE

Natural swimming lake on the property. Organic fruit and vegetables from our
permaculture gardens. Self-sufficient with solar power and our own spring water.
The Rota Vicentina trail passes right by the land – after-work hikes included.
More than 300 days of sun a year.

Atlantic beaches approx. 40 minutes by car. Shops in São Luís or Odemira approx.
20 minutes. Faro approx. 1 h 45, Lisbon approx. 2 h.

ACCOMPANYING PROGRAMME (optional, bookable on site)

Sound healing, mindfulness and reflection, business and life coaching, bodywork,
creative workshops and helping hands on the farm. As much or as little as you like.

Wir sind Dominik & Jhelisa – und Monte Sentimento ist unser Zuhause. Ein Achtsamkeitsresort und eine Permakulturfarm in den sanften Hügeln des Südwest-Alentejo, nordöstlich von Odemira. Wir leben hier auf dem Land, bauen unser eigenes Bio-Gemüse an, pflegen die Böden nach den Prinzipien der Permakultur und teilen diesen Ort mit Menschen, die Tiefe und Orientierung suchen. Unsere Ferienhäuser (je ca. 100 m2) sind in traditioneller Taipa-Bauweise gebaut: Schlafzimmer, heller Wohn- und Essbereich mit Küche und Kamin, Bad, offene Galerie mit weiteren Schlafplätzen und Leseecke, dazu ein eigener Garten. Auf dem Land: ein Naturbadesee, Eichenwälder und weite Stille. Wer mag, nimmt an unseren Angeboten teil: Klangheilung, Achtsamkeit und Reflexion, Business- und Life-Coaching, Körperarbeit, Kreativ-Workshops oder Mithilfe auf der Farm. So viel oder so wenig du magst. Wir freuen uns auf Gäste, die Ruhe suchen, konzentriert arbeiten wollen oder einfach mal wieder barfuß das Zeitgefühl verlieren möchten. Herzliche Grüsse

How can I cancel my booking?

How you can cancel a booking varies depending on what stage the booking is in.

Is your booking request still waiting for host approval? Then you can simply cancel it directly from your My Housing web app!

However, suppose the owner has already approved your booking request, and you are no longer interested in it. In that case, you can still cancel the booking before you sign the lease agreement. Just consider that you should do this only in essential cases. Because when the host accepts your booking, the property is stopped being advertised, and they can lose the chance to rent their property to someone else.
