There is very little passing traffic, no through road, and no surrounding density. During the day, the dominant sound is birdsong. At night, the environment becomes almost completely silent, with only the faintest distant noise from far beyond the immediate area.

The defining feature of the property is the private garden and pool space, which is not overlooked. This creates a level of seclusion that is extremely difficult to find. The pool area becomes the natural centre of daily life — a place to relax, read, swim, or simply enjoy the stillness of the surroundings. In the evenings especially, the setting takes on a calm, retreat-like atmosphere that many guests find to be the true value of staying here.

The home itself is fully furnished and comfortable, designed for longer stays rather than short visits. It includes a selection of books, basic fitness equipment (exercise straps, ab wheel, press-up bars), and everything needed for day-to-day living. A motorbike is provided at the house, price of it's use already built into the cost of the house rental. You have the option to use it or not. There will be some paper work, an indemnity form to sign and an an international bike license is required. We recommend you opt in of the motorbike, as the property is situated at the top of the hill. Nearest shops and amenities are + - 1.5km away at the bottom of the hill. Too far and too steep to walk. Unless you have your own car, the bike will be necessary.

Wifi is included at the house but it is below 5k speed and while it will suffice, the better option, is to buy mobile data nearby, it is inexpensive and easy to set up (typically around RM40/month for unlimited use 5G connectivity). Instructions of where to buy a sim car can be provided upon request.

The location offers the best of both worlds: a quiet, private environment to return to, while still being within reach of everyday amenities in Tanjung Tokong and beyond.
