A spacious kitchen provides plenty of room for preparing meals—particularly convenient for longer stays—while the wide entrance gives the house an open and welcoming feeling from the moment you arrive. There is also a separate shower room and toilet.
Natural light enters throughout the house, creating a bright and welcoming atmosphere while retaining the calm, intimate character of a traditional Kyoto home.

ZAKURO House is tucked away in a quiet residential area beside a beautiful canal lined with sakura trees. The canal runs north to south and offers a peaceful walking route, with lovely greenery and seasonal blossoms.
Kyoto Imperial Palace is only about a 15-minute walk away, providing easy access to one of Kyoto’s largest green spaces—perfect for walking, jogging, cycling, picnics, or simply relaxing in the gardens.
Despite the peaceful setting, everyday life is exceptionally convenient. Three major supermarkets are within approximately a 5-minute walk, making the location particularly practical for families and mid- to long-term stays.
