1. Fair Usage Utility Policy
To keep your stay hassle-free, high-speed fiber internet and all utilities are included in the monthly rent. We operate a Fair Usage Cap of €110/month (combined for electricity and water). This comfortably covers normal remote-work usage. We will take meter readings together at move-in and move-out to ensure transparency. Any significant surplus will be settled via the platform.

This studio is located directly on the seafront and benefits from incredible cross-ventilation. Please note there is no fixed AC unit; however, the space is equipped with a high-performance Air Cooler and Fan. Combined with the natural Mediterranean breeze, the studio remains fresh and comfortable.

3. The Sleeping Arrangement
This is a modern, open-plan studio. The primary sleeping area is a high-quality double sofa bed. It has been selected for both daytime comfort and a restful night's sleep, ensuring you wake up refreshed for your workday.

4. Remote Work Ready
The internet is a dedicated Fiber connection (73 Mbps Download / 10 Mbps Upload). It is private to the studio (not shared with the building), ensuring maximum stability for your video calls and professional tasks.

5. Quiet Building & Community
This is a residential building with a "calm and professional" atmosphere. It is perfect for those who need a quiet environment for deep focus. We kindly ask our guests to respect the local Greek quiet hours (15:00–17:30 and after 23:00).

I am an academic and an artist living in Rethymno. This apartment is my personal home, and I truly love my neighborhood in the heart of Crete. I will be away for a few months during the summer for research, and I am happy to share my space with someone who will appreciate it as much as I do. Fantastic experience! The apartment is cozy and the view is just unbelievable stunning, the bed sofa is comfortable and all you need is close by. The apartment was sparkling clean, felt like home, the kitchen was well equipped. The location was perfect for exploring the city on foot, or to take a plunge in the sea. Great communication from the host, highly recommended.

However, suppose the owner has already approved your booking request, and you are no longer interested in it. In that case, you can still cancel the booking before you sign the lease agreement. Just consider that you should do this only in essential cases. Because when the host accepts your booking, the property is stopped being advertised, and they can lose the chance to rent their property to someone else.
