This is the crown jewel apartment of Palais Windisch-Graetz which was also home to "Elisabeth of Austria" (the daughter of Kronprinz Rudolf of Austria). Experience Imperial flair in the embassy district in Vienna.
Location:
The embassy district between Rennweg and Strohgasse houses some of the biggest embassies in Vienna (German, English, Italian, China, Russian etc.) and is located walking distance to Downtown in a very beautiful, quiet and secure part of Vienna. Major tourist attractions such as the Belvedere or Stadtpark are stone throw away. Restaurants, supermarkets and pharmacies are within a short walk.
Layout:
+220 sqm, 5 bedrooms, 2.5 bathrooms, spectacular living room, an elevator straight into the apartment, balcony (for smokers ;-)), open real fireplace, unique architecture in one of the most beautiful parts of Vienna.
The spectacular and spacious living room which was hand painted by Stefan Riedl (famous European Stage Painter) makes this living room a once in a live time experience. High ceilings of +5m makes this a truly impressive living room.
High-speed Wi-Fi is provided, as well as digital TV in the living room, inviting you for a cozy evening with self-cooked meals, should you want to take a timeout from the sightseeing & restaurants.
All necessary towels and bed linens are always provided fresh and clean! Absolute hygiene and cleanliness is not a question but a standard.

The Neighborhood:
This romantic apartment is located in one of the finest locations in Vienna, the embassy quarter. Not only the finest, safest and quietest area, also the best possible location to reach with whatever kind of transport you are approaching and the most important thing, also the best location for visiting the city, because nearly all of Vienna's most famous sights are within walking distance. Not only the sights, also all the important places to hang out in the evening or to party at night!
Most of the Cities sights like the Hofburg, the Opera house, Musikverein, Stephansplatz, Ringstraße etc. are within walking distance (5 to max. 15 min). One of the most amazing sights, "the Belvedere" -it used to be Prince Eugen's residence, is next door.
The U4, which station is walking distance (10 min) a few minutes away, is the most important underground line for tourist activities. It offers a straight connection to some of Vienna's most beautiful sights, "Schloss Schönbrunn & the Gloriette" ( where Sissi used to live) or "der Tiergarten Schönbrunn" ( a must see in Vienna !!).
Getting Around:
The closest way is the local Tram 71 which stops right at Rennweg and can take you all the way around the “Ring”.
U4 (green line ) underground station "STADTPARK", a 10 minutes walk. Connects you straight to Schönbrunn & the Gloriette or to the Tiergarten (Zoo).

However, suppose the owner has already approved your booking request, and you are no longer interested in it. In that case, you can still cancel the booking before you sign the lease agreement. Just consider that you should do this only in essential cases. Because when the host accepts your booking, the property is stopped being advertised, and they can lose the chance to rent their property to someone else.

Guarantee of legal certainty. The lease agreements are in full compliance with the laws of the country where the lease is negotiated via Flatio. No matter whether you stay there for one or twelve months.

Online agreement in your language. The basis is an agreement concluded in the language of the place of the lease, but the agreement is always translated into English and the most frequently used languages. The agreement is always signed online, so you can conclude it wherever you are in the world.

Guarantee of a trustworthy presentation of the apartment. With Flatio, you may rest assured the apartment looks exactly as presented. And if, by any chance, the condition of the apartment does not match the description in the listing, we will refund your full rent and fees and give you 7 days of free hotel rooms.

Comfortable extension. Do you want to stay longer in the apartment? No problem. If the owner confirms the apartment is available for you, you will extend the agreement online. Similarly, an agreement may be terminated with a simple 30-day notice, once again, online.

All-inclusive price. The rent includes all services, including utilities and Wi-Fi, and it is not charged unless it exceeds 15 % of the rent. This saves you a lot of paperwork at the time of the apartment handover. If a property does not offer Wi-Fi, it is clearly indicated on the listing page.

Stay Benefits won’t apply - Coverage by deposit
For bookings of 180 days or longer, the host requires a refundable deposit.
