We really enjoyed the stay, the apartment has a nice view and is warm, and sunny which is very appreciated during the winter. Ursula is very friendly, welcoming, and easy to talk to. Her family is nice and friendly as well.
There is a nice nature and a beautiful park nearby. On the other hand, you will need to travel by car, bus, or bike to Cascais or Praia de Guincho as there isn't much to do in Murches. But it's just a couple of minutes away.
Neighborhood
Very nice and calm. Beautiful park nearby for hiking or workout. Decent bakery just behind the corner and a small supermarket. Also, there are a few nice restaurants. What is a plus is the bus stop a couple of meters away and the electric bike stands are on the corner. For groups, it could be nice to go play paintball which is 500m away. But we didn't try it.

The location is perfect – a serene, quiet area with convenient access to a nearby bus stop, a small grocery store, pastry shop, and cafés. We enjoyed exploring the beautiful beach, sand dunes, and scenic mountain trails within walking distance.
Ursula and her family were delightful hosts, ensuring friendly and easy communication throughout our stay. They went above and beyond to create a welcoming environment, making our visit truly enjoyable. We highly recommend this apartment. Thank you for making our stay memorable!

Communication with the hosts was very good before and during my stay. The flat was clean and as described in the photos. It has what is needed for a stay of a few weeks. The price point is hard to beat for the Cascais area. It is outside of the main centres but it takes about 15 minutes to get to Cascais by bus and the buses are fairly reliable. Personally I would recommend it for a short stay of perhaps up to a few weeks given the location that is outside of the main centres and the fact that you are sharing a house with a family of four.
