The apartment is spacious, well equipped and in an excellent location - close to restaurants, walking distance to key spots and close to public transport. It gets a lot of sun and has lovely views of Funchal and the ocean. The landlord was very responsive, easy to communicate with and super helpful.

It is a very nice place to relax. The view from the pool is really spectacular. The staff is very helpful and friendly.

I have stayed at hotel for five weeks as a nomad. Though the room facilities are not new, they do their job. The location is great—close to the Lido promenade, shops, and Funchal centre. There is a rooftop place to relax and observe the magnificent panorama of Funchal at day or night. Many many thanks to the general manager Mr. George and administrators of Dorisol Buganvilia Mrs. Maria and Mrs. Teresa who were attentive and arranged a comfortable accommodation for me.

The appartement is amazing, it has the most wonderful view from the balcony, it's full of light, you have a lot of space to move around and the little inner garden-like space is really cosy. There isn't really any neighbour around so you really have an intimate space. The Wi-Fi is great too.

Everything worked well

The owner was super responsive and helpful, always going the extra mile to welcome us and make our stay pleasant. The apartment was even better than we expected - clean, spacious and equipped with anything you might need. We would have definitely loved to stay longer!

Everything was good and met our expectations. Owner was really nice and always helpful with all things which pop up during our stay. One little minus is that bedroom is on the same site as street and it's a little bit loudy during the night

A vista é incrível, acordar com nascer do sol e ao final do dia ter um por do sol, realmente valeu demais. Quero voltar a Madeira e se o apartamento estiver disponível quero me hospedar nele.

Great hotel to stay at

Esa’s son Lauri - who lives below the apartment, is incredibly nice and helpful. The apartments’s handover went smoothly, we had no issues. The penthouse is huge, clean and well equipped. The bigger terrace has a view of Cabo Girao - every evening we had a chance to see a wonderful sunset over the cliff and ocean. In the second terrace there were some succulents (Lauri, we hope we took a good care for them) and sometimes lizards were chilling there - it was really fun to watch them :) We think the photos on Flatio don’t show how great the apartment is- you need to see it yourself. The price is great, so don’t hesitate - I don’t think you can find a better place in Funchal in this standard and price range. The location is just perfect, because you can get to the city center by foot in 30 minutes and also get to the Formosa beach (great to see the sunset) in 15 minutes. Of course, if you rent a car, it will be much quicker - there’s also a garage space, so you don’t need to spend much money on parking. There’s also Forum Madeira just a few minutes from the apartment - there’s Pingo Doce inside, that’s where we bought most of our groceries. Now the swimming pool! It’s not big, but if you don’t feel like going down to the beach or just sunbathing on terrace (by the way, the sun in August is wild - you can get sunburnt in 30 minutes), it’s really great! During the day there’s some families and children, but in the evening you can enjoy it usually just on your own. Before coming here, we had no idea about the pool (it just wasn’t a priority), so it was a really nice surprise :) To sum up, this place is great to live - perfect spot to get to every part of Madeira, it has two big workspaces if you work remotely (and great internet connection! It’s really important), spacious kitchen and you can just chill there and enjoy the view.

Hotel studios. Close to the center of Funchal and the ocean. The swimming pools and gym available for guests were a big plus.

Amazing house, ready for you to instantly settle in. Everything you need is there, from making morning coffee to cooking a fancy dinner to having a restful night after watching a movie on the couch. Esa is quick to respond to messages and her son Lauri, who lives downstairs, is very friendly and always available.

Beautiful apartment with modern kitchen, shower and good bed. Really enjoyed spending few months here. Plus, Susana is such a lovely landlord! Totally recommended.

Susana's apartment is a very cozy and homely place, close to major facilities. Susana is the most lovey owner, she makes sure you have anything you need, she is very helpful and fast in response. I absolutely recommend her place.
