In our comparison, we mainly considered platforms that have a similar focus as Flatio and are also suitable for medium- or long-term stays. In particular, we analyzed data from Booking.com, Spotahome, Homelike and Uniplaces.
It’s easy to find a nice flat in great neighborhoods using Flatio.
One thing that I can say that happened in the past and not this recent stay is that at once in a while you find a landlord who’s basically running a hotel business and doesn’t understand the nuances of a lease agreement, and therefore does not meet their obligations under the lease agreement. I would like to see Flatio weed out these people.

Lo que más valoro de Flatio es:
- El enfoque claro hacia media estancia y nómadas digitales, un perfil que encaja muy bien con determinadas propiedades.
- El acompañamiento humano y cercano (como el de Cristina), que marca diferencia frente a plataformas más impersonales.
- La seguridad contractual y el proceso estructurado, especialmente para propietarios que buscan estabilidad.
Dicho esto, creo que hay margen de mejora en algunos puntos clave para gestores profesionales:
- Automatización de mensajes (pre check-in, mitad de estancia, check-out). Para quienes gestionamos varios alojamientos, esto sería un cambio enorme a nivel operativo.
- Mayor claridad visual y seguimiento dentro del panel (por ejemplo, estado de contratos, procesos previos al check-in, invitaciones enviadas, etc.).
- Explorar algún tipo de programa de recomendación para anfitriones, tanto para atraer viajeros como otros propietarios.
Veo mucho potencial en Flatio, especialmente en el contexto actual donde la media estancia está creciendo. Con algunos ajustes operativos, podría convertirse en una plataforma muy potente para gestores profesionales.

Flatio offered convenient services like quick pay to pay the rent. It was also nice that I was able to get a place for a monthly rate. What bothered me the most was they way Flatio handled their months and monthly payments. A standard month is 30 days not 29. Signing a 6 month lease and making 7 payments was so absurd to me. And the rent being do in the middle of the month was very odd as well. At any rate, if you advertise monthly rentals at least go with the standard 30 days if you aren't going to honor the whole month.
