Overall, I really enjoyed my stay at the apartment. The location was great and the space itself had a lot of potential — once I’d settled in, it became a comfortable base. However, there were a few issues worth mentioning for future guests.
The apartment wasn’t handed over in the cleanest condition — the vacuum was already full, the toilet brush was dirty, some of the bedding was stained, and I had to unblock drains and defrost the freezer. I also bought additional cleaning products to get things into shape, and purchased a clothes drying rack since there wasn’t one available for outside drying — which I’ve left behind for future guests. I don’t believe it should be my responsibility to clean up after previous tenants, especially without the proper tools to do so. That said, I left the apartment in the condition it should have been handed over in.
One of the two hob rings stopped working early in the stay and, although I reported it straight away, it wasn’t repaired during my time there. In general, communication from the host during the stay could have been more timely.
All in all, the apartment was a great place to stay once I got past the initial maintenance issues. With a bit more attention to detail and responsiveness, it could have been excellent from the start.

On the edge of a quiet area but in 10-15 minute walk you're in the the city. Transport and groceries nearby.
