This was an excellent apartment in a nice neighborhood. On the third floor, it had a relaxing balcony with a table and chairs. The layout had two sliding glass doors that separated the bedroom area from the rest of the apartment.
The internet worked great, and I had all the utensils, pots, and pans for cooking.
It was just a seven-minute walk to the bus stop in front of the McDonalds, which made it easy to get to Old Town Split in ten or so minutes.
Pilip and Silvana were great hosts who met me and showed me how everything was laid out. And gave me tourist maps, bus maps, and tips for local stores and bakeries in the area.
I enjoyed the entire month here. I rode boats to nearby islands, took buses to local cities along the coast, and visited a medieval fortress.
Croatia has a lot to offer, and this apartment was a great way to relax and enjoy my first visit to Croatia.
I have nothing but great things to say about this apartment and Pilip and Silvana.
Neighborhood
The apartment is situated in a large complex. Many stores are around, from bakeries, salons, restaurants, and grocery stores.
I walked the area day and night and never needed to worry or felt uncomfortable. The ocean is about a half-mile walk, with beaches up and down the coast.
If you take a bus to the Old Town area (15 minutes away) you can catch a ferry boat to lots of Islands. Buses that travel up and down the coast, along with the sites of Old Town Split.

The bakery next to the building had great bread and pastries. There was another bakery about 7 minutes away that had excellent goods. Both stores had lines of people waiting every Saturday.
Also, the Mall of Split is about a twenty-minute walk from the apartment. It boasts 200 stores and has a huge supermarket with the best prices and inventory in the area. I walked there once a week.
