Teresa is caring and very supportive. She understands the needs of the tenants, which makes it easy to start the lease with peace of mind. The property is fully equipped—nothing is missing. From kitchenware to cleaning supplies, everything is provided as if it were a home we had lived in for years (of course, not necessarily items tailored to your personal hobbies). Even on hot days, the apartment stayed cool and comfortable inside.

We stayed here as a family of four—my husband and I with our two children aged 6 and 8. The location is excellent. Within walking distance, there are bakeries, restaurants, fast food, hospitals—everything you might need. A shopping mall is also less than a 30-minute walk away. Ubers are easy to catch, and access to both the beach and downtown is outstanding.

We didn’t use public transportation much, but bus stops and train stations are within walking distance as well. We are grateful to have stayed here at this cost in Portugal, where rent prices have been soaring.

If you want to enjoy both seaside leisure and downtown sightseeing, we highly recommend using this place as your base.

Neighborhood
I did see some beggars, but none of them were aggressive. While there were areas in Lisbon where I felt uneasy, here I never felt unsafe—even when walking with small children—so it is a place where you can feel at ease.

I recommend Maçaroca - Organic Grocery Store in Oporto. I’m not a vegetarian, but I do pay attention to what I eat, so I decided to stop by—and to my surprise, I found natto starter (Bacillus subtilis) there. Back in Japan, I used to eat natto almost every day for my health, and I thought I wouldn’t be able to have it in Portugal. I had considered making it myself, but while soybeans are easy to find, I assumed it would be impossible to get the starter culture. I was deeply moved to discover that I could get it so close by.

The rented home was very clean as we entered the first time. The owner left plenty of linens for us along with coffee, jam & various snacks for us.

Neighborhood
Local people were very friendly & everything was walkable. Most stores were within a block.

Definitely a great place with a convenient location in a nice neighborhood. There are plenty of grocery stores, good public transportation, and an excellent balance between proximity to the city center, parks, the ocean, and beaches.

Teresa was very friendly and always willing to assist, making communication with her genuinely pleasant.

I did experience a few minor internet issues, but the owner was always eager to help.

The owner is super host. She is always in touch, helps in any situation.
The apartment is located in a pleasant area, with necessary stores nearby. The apartment has everything you need, very comfortable to live in. The only downside is that it can get a bit cool in winter.

Teresa is a terrific Landlord, and the apartment is excellent. Everything about our stay was just perfect, and way beyond our expectations. The apartment has every little detail thought out. Our stay was amazingly pleasant and Teresa helped with all the issues in a fast and kind way. Really I cannot have wished for a better landlord and place to stay with my wife and 2 kids in Porto.

Neighborhood
The Ramalde area is a great place to stay in Porto, it is a very safe and modern neighbourhood. It is rural and slightly industrial so it has the benefit of having all the shops and services nearby while still maintaining the quiet and family atmosphere being away from the center. nice area with parks and lots of transportation. and 15 min from the Porto center

Excellent cozy apartment, hosts are very welcoming and hospitable, apartment has everything you need and even more.

Neighborhood
Location is perfect, very nice and safe. Good shops, restaurants, services are in 5-minute walk around.
