Studio apartment for rent - Kubanske Namesti
Оценено: 28.12.2025 Length of stay: 2 months
Nice place with clear and easy handovers. Great communication with Marie and team. The flat is in what seems like a very new building, so it looks like there were still minor things being worked out in the building itself - there were a couple of minor electric outages - but these were dealt with very swiftly by the building, and I had direct contact with apartment managers Kyseniya and Viktoriia who were very responsive. I think this is a great sign, as it's always comforting to know that people are on hand to assist if things happen. Also, I had a question about where to leave the garbage, and Viktoriia recorded me a video showing how to get to the garbage bins... which was a helpful and nice touch.
Neighborhood
It's out of the centre, so mostly a residential area. But there are very regular trams (e.g. 22, 6 and 7) into the centre that only take 10-15 mins. There are quite a few food takeaways around and nearby supermarkets are Tesco, Albert, and Lidl. The large Eden shopping centre is a short walk away and Flora shopping centre is close too. You're also about 14 mins walk from the Metro Line A.
Recommended places nearby
I tried a few of the takeaways in the area, though which you'll like depends on your taste. For me, the ones I went back to were the Queen's Kebab in Eden and Hui Feng Chinese. I didn't try the restaurants or bars, as I usually went into the centre for such things, but there are a few in the area and they often seemed busy. If you like walking and want some nearby green area, the Olšany Cemetery is close and, further afield, it's about 45 mins to walk to the top of Vítkov for great views of Prague day and night.
