Hi, we’re João and Pedro Pereira, two brothers with deep roots in Terras de Basto.

This house was once our family home, but after standing abandoned for more than twenty years, we decided to bring it back to life. Restoring it became a true family project and a labour of love. We are especially proud to have preserved its character while using Portuguese materials and local craftsmanship throughout.

We both live nearby and want every guest to feel genuinely welcome and well looked after. One of us, or another member of our family, will welcome you personally at check-in, and we are always close at hand if you have any questions or need assistance. A trusted local team helps us care for the house, ensuring it is clean, comfortable and ready for your stay.

We speak Portuguese, English, Spanish and German, and we are always happy to share our local knowledge—from favourite restaurants and hidden corners to some of the region’s most beautiful places. For us, hosting is about more than offering a place to stay. It is about sharing a home, a region we love and the warm hospitality of our family.
