I'm Benny — I grew up in England, but I'm half Dutch on my father's side. I speak pretty broken German from school.
I run a small video production agency, Beautiful Creations, from the desks here between surf sessions. Winter is when I properly settle into the house — I live on the lower floor apartment and open the rest up to co-work and living, so it's slower days, beautiful natural light, and the place becomes a real home with roaring fire on stormy days and hammock life between the ‘winter’ surf days. I'm around most days, spend times with friends in between Peniche, Santa Cruz and Ericiera, plus occasionally travel for a work shoot.
If something needs sorting, I'm usually the one who sorts it, alongside some handy men for larger projects.
I like an easygoing household, one that flowed like the wind with people enjoying their own space, coming together when feels good around a coffee or food or social activities.
I also properly enjoy my own company, so I respect that others need quiet time too.
I've relocated here for the surf, the trails and the quiet of this stretch of coast, and I'd rather share the house with people who feel the same than let it sit empty between summer holiday rentals.
