Aunque el piso está decorado muy bonito, lo cierto es que es antiguo y se escucha todo, al menos en el cuarto en el que estuve. El fregadero de la cocina apesta, no sé si tiene humedad o que, pero había días que era insoportable. Supongo que el hecho de que viese a alguien del persoal de limpieza vaciar un cubo de basura de los que tenía debajo dentro de otra bolsa en la que echaban todos los residuos que separamos (chao reciclaje) no ayuda, porque esa bolsa se quedó ahí al menos una semana aunque se vació como tres veces al menos. Tampoco es que dispongamos de muchos productos de limpieza más allá de una aspiradora sin cepillo que se desmonta facilmente, supongo que para fomentar que contrates la limpieza extra, del mismo modo que te cambian las toallas una vez a la semana pero no las sábanas a no ser que pagues por este servicio. En definitiva, me esperaba algo mucho mejor, pero parece que es todo fachada. Por cierto, el ascensor estuvo averiado durante toda mi estancia, y a saber cuánto tiempo lleva así. Me hubiese gustado saberlo, ya que llegué muy cargada y contaba con al menos poder poner las maletas en el ascensor y no cargarlas dos largos pisos de escaleras.

The room and common spaces of the flat are very comfortable. All the guests are very friendly and helpful, and Joana was always ready to help, since the reservation, if I needed.

Metro and BUS station are very close by.
Everything is available from a short walking distance: the market and supermarkets, other stores, and restaurants.

I enjoyed staying at this property and am pleased to share my feedback for future tenants:

Pros:
- Excellent location, just 30 seconds from Alameda metro station
- Lively, buzzy environment in the surrounding neighbourhood
- Spacious suite/apartment with personal shower + kettle
- Dedicated desk-space with 2 chairs
- Extension leads and plug adapters provided
- Lots of communal space, including kitchen, dining and living room
- Adequate fridge and food cupboard space
- Clothes airers provided
- Brilliant kiosk in the square opposite, open daily, 10am - 10pm
- Landlord kept tenants abreast of who is arriving/leaving, via Whatsapp group, which helped me to feel informed and safe

Cons:
- Bathroom only cleaned and towels replaced if you’re available or leave room unlocked, so unfortunately missed on 2 occasions (out of 32 nights)
- Fresh bedding not offered post check-in (but was easy to use washing machine)
- Wifi very patchy/intermittent in room; just does not extend to upstairs very well. Unfortunately, was advised that there was nothing that could be done. Super disappointing (and costly) to have to use data SIMS as an alternative for hotspot access

Overall, a great place to stay with super convenient transport links. Multiple mini-supermarkets nearby. Bank and ATMs too.

I would definitely stay again, subject to wifi being more stable.

Comfortable and well located property with excellent transport links with many shops and supermarkets a few minutes away.

El lugar esta muy bien ubicado, todo muy limpio, la cocina tiene de todo y Joana como anfitriona muy amable en ayudarnos en todo lo que necesite.

The apartment is really nice and the room looked even nicer in real life than in pictures. It is quite spacious and the common areas are also very nice and spacious.
Joana is a very good host. I had some personal asks and she reacted quickly and helped me with those.
Overall my stay was very comfortable and can definitely recommend and would stay there myself again in case I need toю

This was the best vacation I've ever taken. Shoutout to Joana C. she was the best host. Provided a handbook of information that will help you out throughout your stay in Lisboa. The neighborhood was great, cheap, and beautiful to wake up to. The train is a short 1-minute walk, honestly, maybe less since it's right outside of the door (one. of the two trains at this station takes your DIRECTLY to the airport and DIRECT to the city center and scenic areas (no you can't hear the trains), there's also a bus hub a short 2-minute walk away. This flat is a walkable distance to Cais do Sobre (tip of Lisbon - 45 min walk or 10 min train ride there's also a bus that runs 24 hours at this bus hub) THE BALCONY WAS GREAT :) there are automatic blinds that allow you to block out sunlight for days you just wanna sleep in. There's an amazing kitchen with all the tools you need to cook + a dishwasher + washing machine. Your private bathroom (depending on the suite you stay in) AND AN ELEVATOR!!!!!! I would give this flat a 100000-star review if I could. Hopefully, I am able to book again this upcoming summer as I know this is a rare and wonderful place to stay in. Thank you again, Joana.

Great location, quiet apartment, spacious rooms.

The rented room was great! As cute as in the pictures. The living area was clean and the other guests were lovely. Joana was always ready to help if we needed something. Super recommend!

Alameda station is very close by (not even 1min distance) and from there it is possible to go everywhere in the city. The neighborhood is incredible, there is a nice square in front of the building (Fonte Luminosa) and many afordable restaurants.

There is a very cheap place called Nougat (5,50 per meal), two Açaí places, the street called Domingos Soares has a lot of restaurants and shops.

Everything was up to the mark and Joana was very accommodating to my needs and requests

This is a great shared flat for those needing a private bed and bath without needing private common areas. Located on a busy street in Alameda near the park. This makes it hard to keep the windows open at night if you’re a light sleeper but each room has AC if you need it. The elevator is quite old so I only used it when I checked in and out with my luggage. Stairs have motion activated lights that don’t always detect motion so have your flashlight ready at night. I was room 3 and the bed was a single very firm mattress with a firm pillow. Not my style but might be yours. Very large room with a desk and space to unpack. I recommend double checking with the landlord which shower room is yours if in room 2 or 3 as they are not marked and this caused some confusion while I was there. The landlord was one of the best I’ve encountered in my travels. She was so helpful and accommodating. Very responsive and troubleshooting any questions I had about the flat or the area. She and her husband were on-site one day I was there which was really great. I didn’t stay as long as I’d have hoped due to an uncontrollable AC outage during a heat wave and vacation month (Aug) so it was going to take some time for it to be fixed properly. The landlord was so accommodating to my need to leave for AC and was already working on repairs for next tenant. If I were in need of this type of lodging in the future I’d happily rent. Note: this is not a hotel or private flat. Please remember that as you will hear noise from fellow tenants. Bring earplugs if you need. I also suggest flip flops or similar for walking around the flat and bathrooms. Very clean space but it is public outside your room. This space provides you the basics and If that is all you need then you’ll be happy!

This is a busier part of the city with lots of little shops and eateries open late into the night. This is a great place for those who are social.

Peqeuno cafe and bistro next to the mercado. I went twice. Vegan and vegetarian food. Everyone Speaks English if you need it. Food was well priced for large portions. Great place to have a slow easy breakfast/lunch and even get some readying or work in.

The flat has an amazing location, the rooms and spaces are very comfortable. All the long term house mates are very friendly and Joana's does a great job managing the place. Very recommended.
