Akane House is a completely renovated traditional Japanese townhouse featuring a private garden and stunning mountain views from every room. Located in the Haibara area of Uda City, the house offers a peaceful "small-town Japan" atmosphere with easy access to the major hubs of Osaka, Nara, Kyoto, and Nagoya via the Kintetsu Line.

The house is bright, warm, and thoughtfully decorated to balance authentic Japanese aesthetics with modern convenience. It is ideal for those looking to work remotely or enjoy a stress-free getaway. Unlike many traditional houses, each room here has a private, locking door.

[Productivity]: Stay connected with high-speed optical fiber internet. Use the large dining table as a shared workspace, or retreat to the private desks located in each room for quiet focus and conference calls.

Hi, I’m Boyko!

By day, I’m a software developer who genuinely loves the logic and creativity of my work. Since I work online, my "office" can be anywhere, but I’ve chosen the beautiful mountains of Bansko as my primary summer base in Bulgaria.

When I’m not behind a screen, you’ll usually find me exploring — there’s a lot of excitement in discovering a new corner of the map and meeting people from different walks of life.

I decided to open up my home to the global community because I know how much a comfortable, well-located space matters when you're on the road. I love hosting "nice people from everywhere" and sharing the magic of the Bulgarian mountains with them.

My apartment is not just a rental, it’s also a passion project. I’m constantly looking for ways to make the space better. Whenever I’m in town, I’m usually busy with making small home improvements, optimizing for both relaxation and productivity, adding new decorations (quite needs to be done). Because I’m always tweaking and improving things, you might find a new piece of art or a cozy upgrade that wasn't there the week before!

I value your privacy, but as a fellow traveler, I’m always happy to share tips on the best local hiking trails, the quietest spots to work with a view, or where to find the best traditional Bulgarian cuisine in town.

How can I cancel my booking?

How you can cancel a booking varies depending on what stage the booking is in.

Is your booking request still waiting for host approval? Then you can simply cancel it directly from your My Housing web app!

However, suppose the owner has already approved your booking request, and you are no longer interested in it. In that case, you can still cancel the booking before you sign the lease agreement. Just consider that you should do this only in essential cases. Because when the host accepts your booking, the living space is stopped being advertised, and they can lose the chance to rent their property to someone else.

Do you have an approved booking and also a valid agreement? In order to cancel your booking, contact Flatio customer support well in advance of your contract beginning (the specific time and amount of refund depends on the type of cancelation policy).
