Extraordinarily spacious and tastefully decorated room with original artwork, located in the heart of vibrant Estefania, next door to the popular Mostarda Kiosk - within the Arroios borough - and a 10 minute walk from Intendente and Anjos. Extremely convenient location to move around anywhere in and outside Lisbon, with 3 metro stations within a 9-11 minute walk, plenty of bus stops, and the 28 tram stop a 12-minute walk away.

The bedroom has a very comfortable king size orthopaedic bed, wardrobe and chest of drawers, a comfortable workspace area with a large desk, shelf and fast-speed wi-fi connection, plenty of natural light through the private varanda to hang your own laundry and enjoy the sun.

The flat is elegant and homey, in a block of flats with older Portuguese neighbours - a precious rarity in a bnb and expat ridden capital if you wish to absorb the local culture and slow lifestyle. You would be sharing with just one more person, in a tranquil environment where energy is carefully nourished to be harmonious and tidy.

On Flatio since October 2022

I nurture the energy of my house with harmony and tranquillity. I also deeply respect my neighbour's habits - they are older Portuguese people and I am grateful to live amongst them. By renting this room, you will be sharing my lovely and very centrally located apartment with me. One of the privileges is living in a wonderful and very convenient neighbourhood, very close to all transport, and still feeling quite Portuguese and not (yet) totally gentrified. The other privilege is sharing with ONLY one more person, and not multiple people to share spaces with at home but with LOTS of co-working spaces in the area. I am a calm and collected but also world and diversity curious person, who loves food and culture. I have mainly been renting to people from foreign government and embassy services, and my hosting has sometimes included Food experiences (upon request, at an extra fee) as a cultural heritage passionate, and Walk&Talk personalised visit plans in Lisbon and Portugal focussing on history and demography of the city and country (by profession, I am a Diversity&Inclusion Expert). I have travelled around myself and I like to receive and respect people the same way I would wish to be welcomed to a new place. Having worked face-to-face in the Lisbon region for over a decade, I have wide knowledge of local geography and culture. This is a rainbow household and most of my friends are from different ethnicities and origins, so you can expect LGBTIQ inclusivity, various languages spoken. Please do not apply to rent if you are not comfortable with diversity.

How can I cancel my booking?

How you can cancel a booking varies depending on what stage the booking is in.

Is your booking request still waiting for host approval? Then you can simply cancel it directly from your My Housing web app!

However, suppose the owner has already approved your booking request, and you are no longer interested in it. In that case, you can still cancel the booking before you sign the lease agreement. Just consider that you should do this only in essential cases. Because when the host accepts your booking, the property is stopped being advertised, and they can lose the chance to rent their property to someone else.

Do you have an approved booking and also a valid agreement? In order to cancel your booking, contact Flatio customer support well in advance of your contract beginning (the specific time and amount of refund depends on the type of cancelation policy).
