Our apartment is a 100 square meters large, two bedrooms, one bathroom with shower and a kitchen. The main bedroom includes a double bed and a double single bed. The second bedroom just a double bed. Both of them are equipped with wardrobe and chest of drawers.
Bathroom is completely equipped with all you need and some amenities.
The kitchen is fully equipped, table for 4/6, chairs, crockery, kettle, oven, fridge...
from our location you can reach all the most important places to tourist interest in only 15 minutes walking.

Me and my husband started this job about 8 years ago, since then we've had tens of guests and all of them come up with the same words, we felt like home. That's exactly what we wanted to, a place where people feels at home, a place where they could sleep peacefully, a place close to the historical center . Casa Gaia Palermo is the name of our place, we've reached 10/10 on one of the main OTA for several years in a row. But the most important thing for us is the smile on our guest's face when we ask them if their stay has been satisfying and their comments on our guest book!

If you are a digital nomad looking for a spot in Palermo, look no further. The apartment is neat, calm, cool, and contains everything you need. The owners are extremely kind, trustworthy, responsive, and helpful, and will treat you unobtrusively, yet with Palermitan hospitality.


The apartment's location at the edge of the historic city center and its proximity to the train station are obviously convenient. Less obvious is the fact that the magnificent regional library (Biblioteca centrale della Regione Siciliana) is about 20 minutes away. You can work there in peace and quiet, popping out for lunch at any one of hundreds of restaurants.


The months we stayed here were among the most intellectually productive of our lives. On weekends, we would explore the old town or take the train to nearby Sicilian destinations.

Neighborhood
Kalsa is one of the four districts of historic Palermo. It is culturally rich, ethnically diverse, and has something of an artist’s neighborhood feel. One can already perceive the first signs of gentrification.

You will find yourself walking a lot, both out of necessity (medieval layout with narrow streets) and because the area invites it. The Botanical Gardens and the park at Villa Giulia are close, and offer quiet, contemplative spaces, good for reading or simply clearing your head. The seaside is also nearby, suitable for running or exercising. There is a wide range of restaurants in the area, spanning many price points.

Trattoria Al Sorriso and Trattoria Trapani both offer outstanding and inexpensive Sicilian food.
MadoniEat is excellent for brunch or lunch.
Ristorante Quattro Mani is an elegant option.

How you can cancel a booking varies depending on what stage the booking is in.

However, suppose the owner has already approved your booking request, and you are no longer interested in it. In that case, you can still cancel the booking before you sign the lease agreement. Just consider that you should do this only in essential cases. Because when the host accepts your booking, the living space is stopped being advertised, and they can lose the chance to rent their property to someone else.

Do you have an approved booking and also a valid agreement? In order to cancel your booking, contact Flatio customer support well in advance of your contract beginning (the specific time and amount of refund depends on the type of cancelation policy).
