Built on the site of the former Victoria Golf Course, this championship layout has been completely reimagined by Ernie Els, introducing innovative design elements, upgraded facilities, and premium playing conditions.
For almost twenty years, the original Victoria Course, designed by Arnold Palmer, was one of the Algarve’s most iconic golf destinations and home to the Portugal Masters (2007–2022).
Today, the Els Club Vilamoura stands as a world-class facility set to host the PGA Tour Champions in 2026, reinforcing its elite status.

Note: The club operates with members-only exclusivity, but a limited number of tee times may be available for non-members staying at The Residences Vilamoura for a minimum of three nights.

Good to Know:

- Outdoor pools are seasonal and open from 9:00 AM to 7:00 PM (pool towels available upon request)
- Indoor heated pool is open all year, from 9:00 AM to 7:00 PM (pool towels available upon request)
- The Pool Bar and snack bar are open from April to October only
- Bike rental is available only during high season (April to October)
- Ongoing construction works in the building.

Additional Information:

→ The property is Self-Catered. Complimentary basic items are provided for your arrival, including first-day toiletries, toilet paper, etc. These items are offered on a welcome basis only - replacements or re-fills are not provided.
→ Bed and bath linen are provided according to the number of guests confirmed in the reservation.
→ The Cleaning Fee included in your reservation covers the check-out cleaning only. Extra cleanings or fresh linens can be requested during your stay and are subject to an extra fee - these requests must be done with at least 24 hours in advance.
→ Check-in time starts from 16:00 to 22:00 (additional cost of 25€ for check-ins after 22:00). Only one set of keys will be provided.
→ We are obligated by Portuguese law to collect our guest's Passport information.
→ Check-out must be done until 10am. Before leaving, please place the keys on the main table.
→ During the stay, the guest is responsible for the safekeeping and proper use of the property's keys. Please avoid leaving them in the lock or mailbox. In the event that a specialized technician is needed for door opening or in case of damage to the key and/or lock, the costs associated with this service will be the responsibility of the guest. In case of key loss, a penalty will be applied.
→ Pools may be under maintenance without notice from the resort.
→ Night time in person assistance for reasons beyond the property's responsibility will have a cost of 25€ after 10:00 pm and 50€ after 00:00am.
→ Please keep in mind that the complete passport/ID details of all guests are required by Portuguese authorities. If you are a Portuguese citizen or booking on behalf of a registered company, providing a tax identification number is also mandatory.
