Like a lighthouse, this apartment stands on the seafront in the center of the town of Candelaria, on the south side of the island of Tenerife. From its large windows you can contemplate the grandeur of the island: on one side, the wide ocean and, in the distance, the imposing Basilica of Candelaria; and on the other side, the mountain that juts into the island and will end up becoming Teide. Recently renovated, El Faro offers a bright and fully equipped apartment (wi-fi, flat TV, etc.).

The apartment, recently renovated to accommodate its guests, is truly a beacon. And it is that its diaphanous decoration contrasts with the mosaic of colors that unfolds in its windows: the blue tones of the ocean, of the sky and the brown color of the mountains (where, on occasions, even the snowy peaks can be glimpsed in winter). The decoration of 'El Faro' is specifically designed to transport the guest to a maritime and luminous environment, with the use of blue tones and all kinds of wood that are so useful in the sea.

The apartment has a spacious living-dining room where guests can choose between sitting on their cheslong sofa with the impressive views as a backdrop or enjoying breakfast or lunch with a privileged view. The living room is equipped with a flat-screen TV that can be located to suit the guests so that it can be viewed from both the dining room and the sofa. The bedroom connects both with the entrance and with the dining area. In this way, it becomes a cozy and, at the same time, very bright corner of the apartment. The kitchen, cozy but fully equipped, has all the necessary electrical appliances and a small breakfast bar, for an aperitif before moving to contemplate the views. Finally, the apartment has a bathroom with a shower.Candelaria is one of the most pleasant towns in Tenerife. It is located on the south side of the island, which gives it one of the best climates in the world. Practically all year round it is sunny and good weather.

It is located 15 minutes by car from Santa Cruz de Tenerife, 25 minutes approx. from La Laguna and with direct access to the southern highway to reach the most touristic areas. However, being a town, it is large enough to offer its visitors everything they may need. To the left of the Lighthouse, facing the sea, guests will find the rest of Avenida Marítima, with a pleasant wooden promenade, multiple bars and restaurants, supermarkets, a shopping center, and a couple of beaches. To the right, we enter the historic part of Candelaria. A few meters away, we find the beach of La Hornilla, a small cove of black sand, almost secret. If the traveler continues, he will arrive at the town, with its food market, the fishing port and the small colored low houses. At the end of the road, the Basilica of Candelaria and its magnificent square contain the history of the aboriginal kings and the appearance of the Virgin in a cave, intertwining history and legend.Candelaria can be reached by bus or by car from both the southern and northern airports.

How can I cancel my booking?

How you can cancel a booking varies depending on what stage the booking is in.

Is your booking request still waiting for host approval? Then you can simply cancel it directly from your My Housing web app!

However, suppose the owner has already approved your booking request, and you are no longer interested in it. In that case, you can still cancel the booking before you sign the lease agreement. Just consider that you should do this only in essential cases. Because when the host accepts your booking, the living space is stopped being advertised, and they can lose the chance to rent their property to someone else.

Do you have an approved booking and also a valid agreement? In order to cancel your booking, contact Flatio customer support well in advance of your contract beginning (the specific time and amount of refund depends on the type of cancelation policy).
