The house is located in one of the oldest districts of Lisbon, surrounded by many small restaurants and local spots, which gives the area a very authentic and atmospheric feeling. It has all the basic amenities needed for a comfortable stay. However, if someone is expecting five-star hotel standards, this might not be the right place.

On the other hand, if you appreciate traditional Portuguese houses and the charm of historic neighborhoods, you will likely enjoy it very much. Just like we did. The house is quite small but truly lovely, and we had a very pleasant stay there.

The bus stop is close by and many of Lisbon’s attractions are within about a 20-minute walk, which makes it a great base for exploring the city. Just a few steps from the apartment there is also a laundromat, where you can easily wash and dry your clothes at a reasonable price, which is a very convenient option during your stay.

Apartment is in a great location in the centre of Alfama, we stayed here for a week and everything was fine (the stairs take a bit of mastering). The bed we used was comfortable and the whole place was clean.

Neighborhood
It is in the old town area of Alfama in Lisbon, narrow streets, not too much traffic, pretty quiet through the night and busier through the day time due to it's location. Most places are within walking distance and there are plenty of restaurants and bars around as well as small shops.
