Sao Vicente is a nice place, which is located near the ocean, from 40 km from Funchal, near this place is located many beautiful tourist points
I recommend to visit Fanal, Bica da Cana, beach in Seixal, Miradouro de São Cristóvão,
The property sits uphill, but is easily reachable by car and offers stunning surroundings.

Very calm and relaxing it feels so serene to stay up in the mountains. Everyone i meet was super friendly and nice.

The super market thats a few minutes away. I found the prices very resonable.
The neighbourhood is very rustic with all farms, but also with a good road system. You definitely need a vehicle to get around as buses are very limited. It's up in the mountains so it's very green and lush. The people are incredibly warm and friendly. It's also close to one of best surfing beaches and despite being in the mountains, is not too far from Funchal and other towns.
There are so many beautiful places it's hard to say. What I did was get in my car and just drove. The beach area is quite nice if you want to be with lots of people, restaurants, etc. The Atlantic Ocean is everywhere you look!
Luis immediately gave us directions to places to see and where to eat, and as soon as we arrived mum brought us a very good banana helmet.
We'll be back, sure.
Unfortunately, we had rainy days, but there is also a cozy terrace where to have breakfast or dinner :)
The location is really good for visiting the northern part of the island, as well as the south, as Sao Vicente is well connected to Funchal and the south coast.
We highly recommend this relaxing place in Madeira!
Mieszkanie było bardzo czyste i schludne. Wszystko działało bez zarzutu, a wyposażenie było w pełni zadowalające. W kuchni znajdowała się lodówka, kuchenka, piekarnik, mikrofalówka, czajnik elektryczny, ekspres kapsułkowy i niezbędne naczynia. Salon i sypialnia w pełni wyposażone (w tym w otwartą szafę, więc nie było problemu z przechowywaniem rzeczy). Metraż mieszkania na dwie osoby w zupełności wystarczający. Do tego taras wyposażony w mały solik, krzesła i parasol. Do użytku mieliśmy również pralkę, która znajduje się w pomieszczeniu ogólnodostępnym.
Kontakt z gospodarzem po angielsku poprzez WhatsAppa, zawsze błyskawicznie odpisywał i można było podpytać o wydarzenia które odbywały się w okolicy. My spędziliśmy tutaj 20dni i postaramy się jeszcze wrócić. Polecam każdemu kto kocha naturę i poszukuje cichego miejsca wypadowego.
