Is it possible to set the minimum or maximum duration of the lease?

This is another thing we at Flatio are prepared for, so yes, it is possible. You can set both the minimum and the maximum lease duration and tailor the incoming booking requests to your requirements. If the duration of the lease is not limited in any way, then prospective tenants can book your apartment for as long as they want, though always for at least 5 days.

If you choose to limit the lease duration, we suggest you set different values for the minimum and maximum, because if you set them both the same (e.g. to 180 days), the probability that you’ll receive a booking request is very small, as any potential tenant would need to carefully choose when to arrive so that the duration of their intended stay would really amount to exactly 180 days.

Setting the lease duration

You can easily set the lease duration for any of your properties in the web app My Rentals:

In the Properties section, select the offer you wish to make changes to by clicking on its name.
In the editing menu, select Rental prices and duration.
In the Lease duration section, you will find the Minimum lease duration field and the Maximum lease duration field, which you can set according to your preferences.
Save the changes you’ve made by clicking on the Save button.
