How does the move-out process work?

As the move-out date approaches, the entire accommodation must be restored to the condition in which you took it from the landlord - in most cases, this means general cleaning and packing up all of your belongings (especially valuable ones, such as personal documents, money, and electronics).

We recommend that you take extra care when cleaning the accommodation and return it to the condition you received it from the landlord when you moved in, or better.

TIP: If you have accumulated some staples during your stay, such as flour, pasta, salt, and others, it's up to you whether you leave them in the kitchen for the next tenants or throw them away (however, we recommend leaving only full or slightly empty packages of durable character and throwing away the liquids).

The time of returning the accommodation to the landlord varies but is always stated in the lease, as well as in the reservation detail of your profile. If you need to arrange an earlier or later departure, please contact your landlord to negotiate an individual agreement.

Before handing over the accommodation, document its condition with photos and ensure the handover is done in person. Remember to sign the takeover protocol, which is part of a smooth handover. If the landlord overlooks this step, remind them and insist on signing it to prevent any misunderstandings.
