I want to list a property on Flatio. What should it look like?

We can list any living space (apartment, separate room, house, etc.) in any destination, as long as the rented property meets the following standard:

1. It's fully furnished
   Because of the most common rental length Flatio guests look for (usually 1-6 months), providing them with a fully furnished rental unit is necessary. Guests renting for a shorter period than a year don't want the stress or expense of finding a suitable bed, chair, table, or appliances; they simply want to move in with a suitcase of clothes and personal items. We also strongly recommend providing Wi-Fi and bedding (duvets, pillows, bed linens). Most guests on Flatio are digital nomads, remote workers, or students who need a reliable internet connection, and they appreciate having bedding ready when they move in. Properties without Wi-Fi or bedding are clearly marked on the platform, which may make them less attractive to potential guests.

A fully equipped rental unit is the Flatio standard. That's what we promise your potential guests, and it's the minimum they always expect. Everything else is a matter of personal taste, e.g. the style and amount of furnishing. We don't ask hosts to adjust the design of their rented living spaces, but we know from experience that our customers prefer mainly a clean, airy environment where they feel comfortable and at home.
