There are no booking requests. What should I do?

Not receiving as many bookings as you'd want? Here's our guidance on how to improve your listing so it attracts more tenants!

If you aren't getting many requests, we recommend you take a close look at the information you've provided to potential tenants. It is a good idea to review your settings. We recommend you focus on the following:

  • Quality photos, including a virtual tour - Appearances do matter! For a successful rental use our free service to create a multimedia presentation including a virtual tour! Learn more here.
  • All-inclusive description of the offer - Even though potential tenants will look at the photographs first, your written description is also important. It should explain everything a potential tenant wants to know. Do you have a designer lamp from a famous sculptor in your apartment? Mention it! Tenants are also always interested in descriptions of the property location and where parking is available nearby. Write the description in both your native language and English.
  • Updated Availability - As with other booking sites, Flatio experiences some seasonality when demand is higher than in other months. Therefore, if you are also advertising on other services, be sure to link your calendars (in iCal format).
  • Attractive Pricing - Your flat may be priced too high. High rents can cause lower demand. The list price should reflect the location; you can ask more for a flat in the city center than for one in the suburbs. Setting the right price is a matter of personal preference and sometimes, trial and error.
