Have you changed your mind about the accommodation after creating a booking request? In this article, you can learn how it can be canceled.
Can I cancel my booking request?
Of course! Before your lease is valid, you can easily cancel your booking request via your profile in the My Housing web app.
There are two places from which you can proceed with the cancelation:
- The "Actual booking" section in the dashboard
- The "Bookings" section in the left menu bar
The next steps are the same for both options:
- In the chosen section, click the "Detail" button of the booking request you want to cancel.
- In the opened details of the booking request, click the "Cancel booking" button, which you can find on the right side (under the profile photo of the host).
- Confirm the cancelation.
Please take into account that this action is NOT reversible and the entire booking request will be canceled together with the draft of the lease agreement that has been created. If you change your mind later, you can easily create a new booking request again.
IMPORTANT NOTE: This procedure applies only if your lease agreement isn't yet valid. If you'd like to cancel an already valid lease, please visit this article instead. |
